Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD, Our God,
How Blessed is Your Holy Name!
You Alone Are Worthy of Praise,
For You Alone Are The One True God.
Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent,
Wash us Clean, Oh LORD,
And Clothe Us In Your Righteousness.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

This brief mention of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba has sparked centuries of speculation and Legend. Movies, Paintings, Novels, and, indeed a whole tribe of Ethiopians who consider themselves Jews have emerged from this story. A Christian Sect in Ethiopia claims to be in possession of the actual Ark of the Covenant, and Hailee Sellasse claimed the Title "Lion of Judah" as one of his royal names. This belief eventually spread to Jamaica and became the basis of the Rastafarian sect, who call Ethiopia "Zion", and the rest of the world, "Babylon." The State of Israel has even airlifted hundreds of Black Jews from Ethiopia, and given them the "Right of Return" based upon this ONE Passage of Scripture.

From this passage, we can infer that Solomon's Wisdom, Wealth, and Greatness had become world-wide news, but also his unique relationship with the One True God of the Universe. This is a profound statement, as it flies in the face of all ancient (and even most modern) religions. It was so deep and magnificent that the Queen just HAD to check it out for herself!

May it be, for each one of us, that our own "relationship" with the Almighty will be so unique, profound, and magnificent, that it will spark curiosity and give each of us an opportunity to share it!

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
