Really? As for calling for “global regulatory norms”, isn’t that what The Church does?
The pope and bishops have been empowered by Christ to teach, sanctify and govern the faithful in spiritual matters. Opining on global warming and agitating for global regulatory norms obviously doesn't fall within those parameters.
