Note the use of the word “many”

That is the scariest two verses in the bible in my opinion.

Think "LDS" or "Jehova's Witness" and "many" falls into context.

Or it could mean all protestants, or the entire western Christian church with only the Greek Orthodox being considered true followers of Christ. Or it could just simply mean people who are Christians in name only like many liberals.

The fact is... we dont know, and the fact is Christ says that MANY will THINK they are saved and will in fact not be.

That is scary as heck to me.
