Posting articles from a year ago with no mention of it? Really?

>>Why did Saint Paul say, “imitate me”?<<

Perhaps because Paul clearly taught that we are NOT to look to men?

1 Corinthians 1:12 Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying, "I am of Paul," and "I of Apollos," and "I of Cephas," and "I of Christ." 13 Has Christ been divided? Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

>>You disobey Christ if you disobey Paul.<<

We know why also.

Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

The arrival.revealing of the man of sin is near. This pope will be a great asset in arranging that Catholics join in the Chrislam movement under the Islamic messiah, Mahdi. Of course the Mahdi is the antichrist of Christianity, but this pope sin’t concerned with that, he has souls to guide for his master (and his master is not Christ, though the question rises ‘does he know whom he is serving with this ecumenical movement to embrace the demonic religion of Islam?).).

So, we can assume that Catholic prayers will be allowed in the mosque?

Cowgirl, this thread is out of date. The pope is not even at the Vatican, now. This was all discussed last year.

The Washington Times is legit. Just that the article is a year old.

If the Pope did this, he’s an idiot. However, we can thank him for helping to bring about the end times.

Indeed, very comforting. What amazes us is that anyone save the criminally insane would gravitate to this sham of a political system.

This may be a year old but just as scandalous. It shouldn’t have happened. Period.

2Ti 4:3 For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap up teachers to themselves according to their own lusts, tickling the ear. 2Ti 4:4 And they will turn away their ears from the truth and will be turned to myths.

Did the malignant moozlums allow Christians to pray in Mecca at the moon-god rock?

I am lodging an official protest to have this thread removed as it is scurrilous and misleading.

It's not misleading. It happened.

Too bad that it makes Catholicism look bad. Just because it's ***gasp*** ONE YEAR OLD, does not invalidate the concerns it raises.

That is your CURRENT pope who did that. He's still in charge.

If there had been a change of leadership, with the magisterium deposing him, that would be a different story, but clearly, no one has any objections to it within the Catholic hierarchy or action would have been taken.

So make all the excuses y'all want, it's your church, your current pope, and your church catechism.

It's not our doing that's making y'all look bad and our pointing it out is not our fault for it happening. And censorship is not the answer to taking care of the problems being exposed in your church.

And here, for the thin skinned who whine to the mods over the least little offense taken.

Jesus is a godly man.

Or isn't He good enough of an example for people to follow that Catholics would advise following man over Jesus?

Matthew 4:19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Matthew 8:22 And Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”

Matthew 9:9 As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.

Matthew 10:38 And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Matthew 19:21 Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Mark 1:17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”

Mark 2:14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.

Mark 8:34 And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Mark 10:21 And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Luke 5:27 After this he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax booth. And he said to him, “Follow me.”

Luke 9:23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Luke 9:59 To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

Luke 18:22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “One thing you still lack. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

John 1:43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.”

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

John 12:26 If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

John 21:19 And after saying this he said to him, “Follow me.”

John 21:22 Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!”
