Alas, that only applies to a court of law, not the court of public opinion. I’m surprised none of this came out during Hastert’s tenure as Speaker. It would have been an atomic bombshell, especially during the Clinton impeachment saga. If it is true, then, if nothing else, it exposes Larry Flynt’s dirt gathering skills as a paper tiger.

I forgot all about that. Wasn't Flynt willing to pay $1 million for dirt on congressional Republicans? IIRC, a couple resignations took place but he must be kicking himself today (figuratively speaking) for losing out on Hastert.
