I found this to be an interesting article that has left me more hopeful for mankind in the long run. Perhaps, just perhaps, radical Islam will not develop into the deadly steamroller of modern civilization after all.

What it means is that, even as the U.S. turns its back to God and falls as a result, China may yet be saved.
Prophetic scripture (in the Bible, that is) seems to indicate that Islam will dominate - likely used as a way to amass money and power. Remember, the Bible says that the antichrist will make war with the saints and overcome them. Here’s an interesting article from over on Walid Shoebat’s site (several other interesting ones as well). As the above article states humans are spiritual beings. If Christianity is dying in the U.S. “something” will replace that emptiness. Another key distinction... religion never sent anyone to heaven but it has sure sent a lot of people to hell. True Christianity is about how to have a relationship with God through his Son. That’s what makes the difference - but you have to do it God’s way.
