Oh I addressed your point all right. I'll try to put it a little differently. Attempts to stifle those who would defend the word of God take on many forms. You specifically stated that you questioned the "monomaniacal focus, as well as the propriety, on a site of otherwise shared political, social, and moral values" as if the defense of God's word should be restricted to some venue you didn't specify. If you wish to focus on those "political, social, and moral values" without discussion of scriptural basis then I would suggest you might want to consider not opening religion forum topics.

Well, when I look in the mirror, I see eyes that are still very swollen from my surgeries months ago. People keep telling me it is due to my allergies and the pollen count has been higher than ever. I can see ok but I still have not been driving much. Do not need/want to put others and myself at risk. God bless.

My point: Why, on a site where all share political, moral, and social values, would someone target one denomination, and post articles to undermine that one denomination? It's not that religion is not one of the forums at FR; that is understood. I don't go specifically to the religious forum, but scroll through all postings, and so that is how I have come to know the pattern. Why only anti-Catholic postings?
