I like Amy’s music. She has made some very big mistakes in her adult life that have been disappointing given that she is a role model for many. I don’t agree with her decision here. Neither do I care that much. I guess I am numb because I’ve had so many disappoints from people I thought highly of. Bottom line, oh well. Life goes on. It’s not like she sets public policy. If I get really bugged with what she is doing, I’ll sell my collection of her music like I did with Ray Boltz.

Amy has just teamed up with a person who is well known as being very and I mean VERY pro abortion. Amy has always tried to put forth a Christian front in her music, well at least in the 1980’s she did. Now how does it look that a woman how calls herself Christian is teaming up with people who are very pro abort? Yep you got it! Christians are Pro Abortion! Is that the image you want? Because that is sure the image I don’t want. If this chick has any sense to her would distance herself as far as she could from the Gates Family and their Pro Abort policies.

Amy, Amy, Amy...if you’re looking for a cause there are lots out there that do not make you partner with the likes of Melinda Gates. It sounds like Melinda sweet talked her way into Amy’s heart with stories of her “faith journey” and how Christian music gave her a love for the poor of the world - not doubt siting some of Amy’s old songs. Amy, how about taking on the plight of murdered Christians all over the world to the UN and being a voice for them?
