from the Christian Bible which the Mormons denounce as incorrect..But Joseph Smith; under the direct command of god; corrected it.

There have been 14 billion people born. The LDS say 1/3 of the spirit children of Elohim rebelled and became demons. Thats 21 billion spirit babies born to Elohim. Elohim and his wives have babies the natural way, intercourse and all. If he had 1 million wives, each would need to bear 21,000 spirit babies.(Well, now you know why some speculation is that the Mormon god has many, many, many "wives")
Of course, the speculation even went toward some so-called "indifferent" spirits during that rebellion you reference.
For example, Lds "apostle" George F. Richards, on more than one occasion during the bi-annual Lds General Conferences (April 1939 & Oct 1947) suggested that it was this "indifference" -- what he referenced as a supposed lack of "valiance" -- that led the Mormon god into "consigning" blacks to become that race...and he claimed it was why they were barred from the priesthood.
So you can see how these pre-existent Mormon narratives are not only outright racist, but are false revelations...which makes them false "prophets" and false "apostles."
The Mormon Church has never specifically -- by name -- condemned Lds "apostle" George F. Richards.

The Mormon Church has never specifically -- by name -- condemned Lds "apostle" George F. Richards. But it has others!
And so many of them managed to get re-instated later...
