My point is that virtually every christian I know believes in forgiveness more than the Commandments. What does that say about their religion?
How many of the commandments did Abraham follow/live by? ... Christians (but apparently not Mormons) KNOW in their heart that they are saved by faith, by faithing (the verb form), not by trying to keep the laws, the Commandments.
The Christian, those people who have made the confession that God has come in the flesh and died for our sins and been raised for our Salvation, lives by the two great commandments, to love the Lord thy God first above all else, and to love thy neighbor as you love your own hide.
What Joe Smith taught Mormons to do was set aside the Gospel of The Grace of God in Christ, and to try and do all that they can do to earn the Grace, thus making it not grace but an indebtedness, as if men could force or trick God into owing them Grace.
When / IF you awaken to that reality about Mormonism, you might just realize that the second of the two commandments of Jesus' teaching is why we oppose this false, hell's-highway religion of Joseph Smith, for he is used to lead too many away from the Truth of the Gospel. If we did not know that Jesus loves those being led to their doom without His Grace to Save them, we would not be loving them enough to be called all the silly names folks like you call us for ridiculing this satanically inspired religion of Mormonism.
So when all Christian denominations from Catholics to Baptists, to Orthodox and Methodists agree that Mormonism is a different religion, that doesn’t carry any weight with you.
Mormonism is a polytheistic religions, of countless gods, and is not a Christian denomination.
Are you a Christian yourself, or a Mormon?
Isn't the whole "intolerant" schtick yours? As for commandments. You're in violation of the 1st commandment (Mormons are polytheistic), you're also in violation of pride (for if you believe you are saved by your own merits, you open the door to boasting, which the scripture denies through grace), and also you are supporting false teachers and a false Gospels, all acts described as accursed.
Amen!
Follow COMMANDS and what do you have?
An obedient little boy who deserves a cookie for being god.
What do you have if you BREAK a command?
A sinner like me that NEEDS forgiveness!
Heck; I wuz unbalanced WAY before Mormons ever showed up on my radar!
But thanks for your concern, anyway.

And, no doubt, complain about.
Thanks for the advice; but I think I'll continue to post Mormonism's OWN words, instead.
You can defend them if you wish.
My request wasn’t advice, it was a simple challenge for you to define yourself.
You fail to answer a simple question about YOUR philosophy, claiming that I would complain about it. (prophecy from Elsie?) You attempt to shift the topic. All of that is crafty, Elsie. Instead of retreating, rise to the occasion. Give us your testimony. Let all of us see what drives your love of your religion. Is it hatred, envy, ego, attention, coveting, love of your fellow man; what is it? Please tell us.
While discussing this, I wish to note that the Commandment warning us to not use the Lord’s name in vain is an interesting one. It’s not just swearing in anger or defiling His name. Vanity postings, where people’s egos rise to a point where they claim to speak for God, may well fall into that category.
What do you think of people who claim to speak for God?
Come on, Elsie. There’s got to be more to you than your disagreement with the Mormons. Unless that is what defines you, I await some thought filled response from you to this query.
Keep in mind that God is watching all of us.
Why?
I'd think by now I've been pretty well defined by my work here.
After all; I've only been here since 10/3/98
HMMMmmm...
Keep in mind that God is watching all of us.
