Father Paul Nicholson Blasts Father Gruner on the Day of His Death
The Remnant Newspaper ^ | April 30, 2015 | Michael Matt

Father Paul Nicholson—the Canadian 'missionary priest of the New Evangelization'—has done a lot of unpriestly things, but this tops the list and of course does precisely nothing to minimize the perverse, predatory image of the modern Catholic priest in the eyes of so many scandalized Catholics. One priest savaging another, just moments after his sudden death? Who behaves this way!

I didn't hear Fr. Nicholson make such vicious attacks on Brother Roger (of Taize) or "Bishop" Tony Palmer after their sudden tragic deaths.

How painful.

Lots of good commentary at the site as well:
Remember what Our Lady said at Akita on October 13th, 1973:- “The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres . . .” This prophecy of Our Lady certainly applied to Fr Gruner...

Father died just a couple days before Mary’s month. That’s interesting. We like the Remnant site, btw. Thanks for posting their good works.

Here’s a good video for today! Have you seen it before?:

And today is also Fr. Amorth’s 90th birthday. We need his prayers, that’s for sure:

If anyone has watched some of Fr. Gruner's Q&A videos with John Vennari, Gruner talks about his run-ins with the authorities in Rome. There were harassment and smear campaigns against him because he was a Traditionalist and primarily because he wouldn't obey Vatican requests that he stop talking about the inconvenient truth that the Pope needed to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as requested by Our Lord and Lady at Fatima. This kind of talk rubs them the wrong way in this day of ecumenism and Vatican policy of not criticizing Communism or Russia. Impugn his reputation and spread lies, the tactic of choice when you run afoul of the Vatican bureaucracy.

This comment is interesting indeed.

Quite the bizarre character. Here's another example of his strange brand of "evangelism":

Father died just a couple days before Mary’s month.

And on the same day as St. Catherine of Siena.

April 29, 1380, Rome Catherine of Siena

Wasn’t it that shady Archbishop Bertone who “interpreted” the 3rd secret for us?

I know; isn’t that cool? I looked up St. Catherine’s plea to the pope. She was REALLY quite strong with her words. We need to resurrect her, eh? -lol-

I don’t know a lot about this, but it appears that Father Gruner was not well liked by the Vatican. And he recently made a very strong statement about the need for the Consecration by October of this year after dsicussions he had with Father Amorth.

Others may think I’m nuts, but my tin foil hat is firmly attached.
