Also regarding St. Faustina, in “The Divine Mercy Message and Devotion” book published by the Assn. of Marian Helpers (Nihil Obstat Rev. Kazimierz Chwalek, Imprimatur John A. Marshall, Bishop of Springfield) the words Our Lord dictated to Sr. Faustina were deliberately changed to reflect a modernist, revolutionary, “ecumenical” interpretation of His message of mercy. Specifically, on the fifth day of the novena it says, “Our Lord’s words here were “heretics and schismatics” since He spoke to Blessed Faustina within the context of her times...”. Substituted for Our Lord’s words is the phrase “the souls of those who have separated themselves from my church”. The actual words spoken by Christ have been edited and sanitized, apparently considered too offensive to retain.
