Prime Minister Davutoglu's comments follow criticism by Turkish president yesterday over Armenian genocide statement
Turkeys prime minister has accused the Pope of being part of an evil front plotting against his country.
Ahmet Davutoglu made the comments today in the capital Ankara ahead of the countrys parliamentary elections in June at which his ruling Justice and Development party was presenting its list of candidates.
Mr Davutoglu comments came after Pope Francis described Ottoman Turkeys massacre of 1.5 million Armenians from 1915 as genocide, a term and death toll denied by Turkey
Mr Davutoglu said: An evil front is being formed before us Now the pope has joined it and these plots.
Yesterday Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan also condemned the Pope.

I’ll bet it’s true. Look at all the awful things Pope Francis has done so far. A determination to destroy Turkey is, if not exactly predictable, certainly unsurprising.
It doesn’t take being a Pope to know without a doubt that there was genocide carried out against the Armenians by Turkey!
Davutoglu is a small, yappy, black dog!
God bless the Bishop of Rome!
IIRC, calling someone a black dog is an insult to the Armenians. My grandparents (who met while growing up in respective boys/girls orphanages after their parents were killed by the Turks) used to use the phrase, sev shuny (black dog) when they were angry.
everybody in the world knows that it happened....big conspiracy!!
