Why did God send a part of Himself as Jesus Christ to earth?

I need to give you more of an answer than my previous post. My problem is I am a very poor typist "hunt and peck" and my mind runs faster than I can type.

God sent Jesus to earth to show us the true God and Savior of the world.

Since the beginning of time man as a whole believed there was something bigger than him (God). That is something God put into our souls. So people erected things honored and worshiped what ever god they looked up to. the ancient Greeks, Zeus. The Chinese Buda. the Norse Thor, and so on... etc. You know what I'm getting at. God wanted us to believe the Right Creator and God of all creation and sent His Son to show us the way for true Salvation.

To me this is a clinical explanation why God sent Jesus to this world to Save us and to bring us to Him.

There is one thing I know. God is pure LOVE. More than you can Imagine. Why, because 30yrs ago I had something similar to a near death experience in which I had a glimpse of Heaven and the experience is something I will never forget.

I will tell you this. The people who convinced you to turn away from the Catholic Church were wrong and miss guided, and if you want to know why. Ask me.
