Thanks for replying. The correct phrasing is "They are one and the same."

So, one would remain a Roman Catholic even if Lord Jesus Christ were to say "Come follow Me and none other."

It is not a false choice but, for many, is the difference between eternal life and eternal separation from Lord Jesus Christ.

I asked one on FR. He replied he would say “Get behind me Satan.” Some are in too much in love with their false gods and idols to repent.
