I. Recognizing Roman Catholicism as the Default Position
II. This Creates a Duty to Investigate Catholicism Seriously

By that logic ...

I. Suicide is the Default Position for Depression.

She said everything we have the Catholic Church safeguarded for our use today.

Don't forget population control...We'd be crowded out of existence had the Catholic religion not removed the life from as many non Catholics as they did...

No appointment is necessary, no list need be signed, anyone can enter one of these chapels at any time of day to spend time with our Lord. Find a Chapel.

But you have to go to a Catholic chapel??? Can you put that thing in a briefcase so that you can carry Jesus around with you and be with him all the time???

Visit any Catholic Church and you will see a red lamp burning near a Tabernacle.
The sanctuary lamp reminds Catholics that Jesus is present in the tabernacle, and churchgoers often pray before the tabernacle and reflect on the mystery of Christ’s presence in the Eucharist.

And when the light goes off, we know that,,,Jesus has left the building???

It would be so nice if you ever really knew what you are talking about. But, since you don’t seem to care about facts, I guess we have to put up with your untruths.

I think the point (or one of the points) is that American evangelicalism, in many churches, is no longer Reformed in any serious way (and also, obviously, neither Lutheran nor Anglican).

I was raised on the Second Synod of Dort. The “United Church of Christ” (funny!) no longer subscribes to these or any other recognizable Christian doctrines. Other former Methodists, ELCAers, ECUSAers have similar tales to tell.

All the article is saying is that defecting from the apostate churches of your formation into an entirely personalized faith experience should be measured against the Rock of Ages, which is of course correct.

Thanks for posting.

So often we hear successful arguments against a caricature of Catholicism.

Being able to articulate what Catholics believe and why we believe it should be The starting point for those who are evangelizing away from the Church.
