Public sinners require public confession and repentance

Maybe as far as voters are concerned, they do....however, as far as God is concerned...private confession and penance and intent to not sin again is all that is necessary

If they are still "pro-choice" how have they stopped sinning? And if they are still "pro-choice" after their so-called private confession, how does a priest allow them to receive communion?

These are notorious public sinners who continue to bring scandal to the Church. They must repent publically and make reparation by renouncing their "pro-choice" -ness (publically).
