So the comparison with the pharisees wouldn’t seem to hold up. They did it for praise. We do it in spite of insult, judgment, and contempt.

Wow! Somebody who knows what most of the saved FEEL! What research did you do to ascertain the feelings of most of the saved, and how did you determine your sample?

But wait. What's this?
"feeling holy" is not being holy ..
I'm guessing that the same thinking leads to the conclusion that FEELING Pity is not the same as HAVING Pity -- Since Pity is not necessarily a FEELING any more than sanctity is.

The emotional disturbances and perturbations of "the saved" are no concern of mine.
