If Christians had not picked up the sword at the gates of Vienna and the sea battle at Lepanto, you’d be on your prayer mat, face down and ass skyward.

And they, and we do today, have a right to defend themselves. My point has been it is not the job of the shepards of Christ to lead battalions of Christians into battle in the Name of Christ. That is the job given to political authorities and nation-states.
