'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather scornful tone, ' it means just what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less.'
'The question is,' said Alice, 'whether you can make words mean so many different things.' 'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master - that's all.' |
But they ain’t HUMAN feet!
Your umbrage is justified.
Thank you Elsie.
We are Catholic, but my children attend school at an Evangelical Christian home school co-op. I can say that my children have been treated exceptionally well. The parents and children of that school are truly wonderful.
....”Protestant history starts with the reformation”....
My post was addressing the “split” in catholicism. I’m fully aware of the Protestant Reformation and why that came about but am not referencing that....rather catholism “split” itself....The division of the church between East and West is rooted deep in catholicism history. And yet catholics choose not to believe there were spilts among themselves nor “denominations/sects which branches from those splits.
Point being....they are not “one”.
