So when the Bishops, Cardinals and Pope teach things that are directly in contradiction to scripture, who does a Catholic listen to?
And is the Church and/or Pope still infallible?
Sola Ecclesia or Sola Scriptura?
The church says that a gay relationship is not on the same level as a relationship between a man and a woman. That is clear. But when they are faithful, when they are engaged for the poor, when they are working, it is not possible to say, Everything you do, because you are a homosexual, is negative.
Well, in that case, I guess Henry VIII should be canonized;
because while the church might hold him to be in error with regard to his marriage arrangements, at least he was trying; and he was engaged for the poor, and tried to otherwise rule well...
Absolutely nothing new. Why in the world do people follow this false religion? I will never understand it. Go back to what the Bible teaches and find a group that actually follows it. This teaching that gays are okay is going to make gay priests okay too and who knows what else. Wake up people.
None of this has been “from the Chair of Peter”, meaning that none of this has been rendered “infallible”.
If the Catholic Church ever blesses homosexual unions then it will prove itself to be false and fallible.
When popes, bishops priests teach in contradition to Scripture or traditional Catholic teaching, one can find authoritative teaching in the teachings of the Magesterium. The Majesterium is the non-contradictory teachings of the bishops throughout the world or gathered in an Ecumenical Council ratified by the Pope.
Divorce and re-marriage is adultery. The Church fought that battle with Henry VIII.
We listen to Jesus Christ, the Originator of the Deposit of Faith and Morals.
"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding the profane novelties of words, and oppositions of knowledge falsely so called."

13. For the doctrine of the faith which God has revealed is put forward not as some philosophical discovery capable of being perfected by human intelligence, but as a divine deposit committed to the spouse of Christ to be faithfully protected and infallibly promulgated.
14. Hence, too, that meaning of the sacred dogmas is ever to be maintained which has once been declared by Holy mother Church, and there must never be any abandonment of this sense under the pretext or in the name of a more profound understanding.
May understanding, knowledge and wisdom increase as ages and centuries roll along, and greatly and vigorously flourish, in each and all, in the individual and the whole Church: but this only in its own proper kind, that is to say, in the same doctrine, the same sense, and the same understanding [36].
