The Seventh Day Adventist denomination was an offshoot of the "Millerite" movement in the 1800's, named after William Miller, who wrongly predicted the end of the world several times in the 1800's.

Doug Batchelor is wrong about so many things, and he now follows Ellen G. White's woefully wrong teachings (which bashed the Catholic Church long before Batchelor did).
