Acts 15:8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. Did you miss the scripture?

The Sacrament of Confession is for Catholics and the topic refers to Catholicism. For those who hate Catholicism, maybe a forum for those who feel that way would be more appropriate. That way the Catholics could discuss, and the haters of Catholicism could bash to their hearts' contents, and not be such a nuisance.
Following rules is the narrower road; the arrogant idea of self-interpretation is much wider...
