This is good news. Our Priest retired from teaching High School English and went into the Priest hood in his late 50s. We have a shortage of Priests up here, and most are double booked to other Churches. New Priests would certainly help out.
We, thankfully have 6 seminarians and several new priests and some order just moved into our diocese. There was a visiting Indian priest who wanted to stay in our diocese but our bishop told him he’d have to wait 2 years when we will have several retirements.
