Yes, that too. In an earlier piece, he talked about “hundreds of thousands” reading the Book of Nehemiah and the Greek philosophers; that’s ridiculously low for both, over the passage of time since their composition.
Not a numbers guy. It doesn’t affect the validity of his insights into the texts.

His insight into human nature is fine, as that hasn’t changed.
