AGW is NOT a matter of faith or morals.


Perhaps you can help me understand and possibly tighten up your definition. If the Pope says something which is not factually correct isn’t that a lie and thus in the moral real even if only in the negative sense?

Or the other side of the coin, if the Pope tells his followers that doing something is the right thing to do or that something should be part of their lives. Does that not make it a matter of faith or morals?

Nope!

A lie is something you know not to be true.

“not factually correct” is not the measure.

That would presume that all have equal awareness to all truth.
You don’t and neither does he.

Second, the “faith and morals” constraint applies to matters on which the Pope speaks “Ex-cathedra” or from the Chair of Peter”.
