***If the ten commandments were ENDED, that would mean MURDER was acceptable and fine with God.***

No, even Cain had a mark placed on him. What he did was NOT acceptable to God, and the Ten Commandments had not been given then.

Romans2:
12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,

18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;

19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

Romans7:

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the LAW by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the LAW, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

6 But now we are DELIVERED FROM THE LAW, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I HAD NOT KNOWN LUST, except the LAW had said, THOU SHALT NOT COVET.

8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

PLEASE NOTICE that St Paul does not distinguish between ceremonial and THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. He constantly refers to them as THE LAW.

Not given to Moses yet, but even you say that this murder was not acceptable to God. That means that law was in force even though it was not yet given to Moses.

God is sovereign; his Word is his Law Word, the Bible.

God's nature does not change - his idea of what is right and what is wrong does not change. God is eternal and his nature is unchanging.

Heb 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever."

Psalm 119

89 "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven."

112 "I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end."

142 "Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth."

"150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

151 Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth.

152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever."

1 Peter 1:25 "But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you."

The entire Old Testament was not made null and void by Christ; as our Lord said:

Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

But as much as some hate to admit, there is a clear difference between special revelation directed at the Israelites in particular, such as to go destroy a city, etc., and the ceremonial sacrificial system, which was fulfilled in Christ - and with God's moral law given in the Old Testament.

The proof of this is simple: the New Testament does not reiterate every moral law of the Old Testament. For example, the New Testament does not mention any prohibition of bestiality.

So, because the New Testament does not specifically prohibit bestiality, is that Old Testament law abrogated by the New Testament ?

Is bestiality still a sin today ?

Is it acceptable to God today ?

Consider the words of our Lord Jesus Christ once more:

Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

Is Jesus by implication saying that bestiality is not a sin ? Is he saying it is a sin ? Is he saying, well, it's sort of in between, a gray area of the Law ? Is he saying it's optional ? Live and let live ?

Perhaps is he saying that every day of your life you can wake up, go out to the barn and have sex with your goat, and when you die - Jesus will welcome you to heaven because his death on the cross paid for your lifetime of bestiality ? After all, it's not even listed in the ten commandments - it must be abrogated by the New Testament. Is that so ?

The only other possibility is that even though the New Testament does not reiterate every moral law of the Old Testament, they still survive as a whole.

Unless we want to start picking a choosing which moral laws of the Old Testament we think are still in force and which have been abrogated.

Remember the many, many Bible verses illustrating the eternal existence of God and his unchanging character.
