That is the proper metaphor for this winsome woman, bowing in homage to the Mighty God in Christ, the Hope of Glory.

Let Mary's name and repute be so remembered.

Roger that. Mary was definitely blessed among women, but a servant of God, just like we are. On another issue, this is the first time I have EVER heard of Mary being referred to as the new Eve. Have you ever heard this before? I feel like one of those Athenians in Acts 17, just spending my time hearing some new thing. 😄

She's not. What I think they wanted her is to be a chief goddess replacement for Diana (remember "Great is the Diana of Ephesus!" of Acts 10:24-35), or Athena, or Astsrte so the Gentiles have an excuse for their old social activities, now putting their emphasis on drawing gentiles away by giving them a substitute, if you know what I mean. That's the basis for a lot of this formation of a pantheon of heroes and calling them "Saints" each with a feast for every one.

This is how all the barbaric activities got folded into the Roman manifestation, and still seems to drive it.
