Too many graven images in the pagan world the Catholic Church was trying to bring into the fold...like the worship of Diana, Astarte, Semiramis, Athena.
If you want to find holes in the Catholic faith, try to reconcile it to Messianic Judaism and the Old Testament.
The thing about some Catholics (certainly not all) is that they put their Church ahead of Christ.
That's when it becomes an evil cult.
Good Catholics direct their attention to the Trinity. Roman pagans direct their attention to the Queen of Heaven.
And you can identify them by their angry spirit.
