Could you quote the Scriptural reference that states that Mary is alive? try this one....there is none, nor does the Catholic church teach that she is alive in the human sense...it does however teach that she was assumed, bodily, into Heaven...she may have died on Earth or not, doesn't really make any difference...But since she was free from original sin, she probably didn't!
