That's exactly what happens. I got tired of some old beach t-shirts my husband had when we got married in 1994. He hadn't worn them in years, but there they were, taking up space in a drawer beneath some other things.
I tossed them. I am not kidding you, he came in a couple of weeks later and asked where they were.
