God’s Grace is given FREELY and though our Lord Jesus Christ. If we had to earn it through works and/or sacraments then it wouldn’t be free it would be earned thus it’s not Grace any more.

Romans 3:23-24 New International Version (NIV)

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Romans 5:15 New International Version (NIV)

15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

Ephesians 1:6 New International Version (NIV)

6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

Ephesians 2:8New International Version (NIV)

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Ephesians 6:24 New International Version (NIV)

24 Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

Excellent points and passages.

However for Rome Holy Scriptures is subservient to their sacred tradition and Pope/magesterium.

Only scriptures which upholds (or after some serious wresting of such) the pope and tradition gets the nod.
