The Gospels are filled with accounts of Christ’s loving compassion for the sick and the suffering. May the Divine Physician touch my friend’s family and heal their troubled hearts, even in their anguish may they be drawn ever closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and may He guide the efforts of those desperately searching for a remedy to Drew’s illness. May those of us that search for understanding in these tragic and unexpected circumstances find peace in Christ’s Mercy.

I am praying, for this hits so close to my my heart. My first born daughter died, away at college, just one year older than this wonderful young man.

My prayers go out to our Lord, that He send His angels to surround this family and support them in this time of trial, worry, and fear. May they find solace and hope in the midst of their anguish.

May they trust in His will, and eventually find peace in the midst of their sorrow.

I humbly ask that they be comforted as they walk this dark and unexpected path. Please, God, guide and comfort them, for they need Your support and comfort in this time of fear and of loss.

Please assure them of Your eternal promise, and may they find a way to trust in Your ways, which are so hard for us humans to comprehend.
