I don’t want to imagine what they are going through. God, please be with them and heal Drew.
I join in urgent, earnest prayer for Drew and his loved ones!
Praying!
Thank You everyone for your heartfelt prayers you make FR a special place like nowhere else.
As He has blessed me may God Bless each of you abundantly.
Update from Clyde:
Friday, November 14, Drew was feeling terribly ill. He had a fever, a bad headache, and just felt really off. On Saturday he was feeling much worse. We now know that he had a virus that was making him ill and caused his heart lining to become inflamed. Drew went into cardiac arrest a number of times that Saturday and was taken to the hospital in Madison Wisconsin. For a number of days it was really touch-and-go but Drew is finally conscience and off of life support. Drew suffers from an anoxic injury (injury to the brain due to a lack of oxygen). It could take a couple of weeks for us to know the extent of the brain injury.
Thank you for your prayers and the prayers of your friends, the prayers are making a difference.

Accept prayers from this Brother Knight!
From Drew’s Wife Peggy
Good morning! And I say that with a smile on my face and joy in my heart. Drew is making a remarkable recovery. Nothing short of a miracle. The amazing power of prayer and Gods divine mercy.
This morning many of the doctors that saw Drew during his first week at UW Hospital stopped in to see him. His recovery has amazed them. Nurses continue to stop in and also astounded. Drew shows improvement not just day by day, but hour by hour. As I sit here writing to you he is arguing with the TV and the stupidity of the questions on Who wants to be a Millionaire. Our Drew is back!
The next leg of Drew’s recovery will take place at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago hopefully in the next day or two. Drew is so anxious to get there! Drew’s rehab will focus on his fine motor, speech and cognitive skills. He has the energy, strength and determination to work hard and get out of there as quickly as possible. He is anxious to get back to school!
Clyde, Grant, Reid and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the prayers, thoughts, visits, calls, texts, and “care packages” of goodies and essentials :). Drew thanks you - he thinks it’s pretty “insane” how many people are praying for him. He is overwhelmed with the outpouring of love.
Please continue to pray for Drew’s complete recovery. Thank you and God bless, Peggy
Prayers from a Brother Knight.
I spoke with Clyde last night at our KofC council meeting. Drew has had nothing short of a miraculous recovery. Clyde is amazed at how remarkably slight the permanent damage will be and thanks everyone for their prayers.
Alleluia, Alleluia, All Glory to God in the Highest!
Prayers up for the young man and his family.
