Every time a bishop or group of bishops take a position that the teaching of the Church does not oblige every Catholic to agree with, they are abusing their office.
Most bishops in America are Democrat party hacks, who exploit their position as bishop to engage in Democrat activism.
They are not Catholics—which they PROVE by giving Communion to people like Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden.
The message reaches the Catholic voters.
This Catholic says that except for a few exceptions, and we already know most of those, the rest of the Bishops/Archbishops/Cardinals are a bunch of left wing weenies. Many of them do not even adhere to the doctrines of the Catholic Church. Think Wuerl, think Dolan, think O’Malley, the latter of whom disgraced himself last Sunday on 60 Minutes. They are American versions of German Cardinal Kasper.
I’m about fed up with the pretense that there is no distinction between ILLEGAL and LEGAL immigration!
All these platitudes about how we’re to treat “immigrants” as though entering ILLEGALLY should have no consequence.
There is NO acknowledgement of the inequity that imposes on those arriving legally.
