In that same vein, you must also respect Nazism, Communism, atheism and Satanism because its adherents also believe that they walk on the path of truth.
I did not say I respect what they believe in, I said I respect the people with that belief system, always hoping I can help show them where they are wrong.
Seems to me this is a variant of love the sinner while hating the sin.
One of my best friends, BTW, is a white-bread CA boy who converted to Islam back in the early 70s because Episcopalianism was so warlike. In his defence, he belongs to a Sufi sect that really is nonviolent and which ISIS kills whenever they get the chance.
I believe he is wrong, but I respect him and therefore his belief.
