Yes, that's true. I keep it in mind when my own children are that age.

I believe they are so vulnerable at that age. If you can get them through that stage, you have a good chance of keeping them safe from the devils snares.

people used to think I was crazy for taking on that age. Well, someone has to do it. :) I actually enjoyed them. Even the snotty brat syndrome that comes with it. Sometimes they demand to be treated as grownups and the next minute they are howling with delight over a cartoon. Strange age. But there is still an innocence at that age whether or not they choose to allow you to see it.
