I respectfully disagree. It would be fine for Pelosi to wear a mask in public. Well, actually, it would be fine for a majority of elected female democrats. And NARAL. And NOW.
When I lived in a Muslim country I was at the outdoor fruit/vegetable souk/store once, buying vegetables. This woman was bending over some vegetables and I came near, looking at the SAME vegetables.
She straightened up, turned and looked at me and lifted her veil and smiled at me. She was TOOTHLESS, with a zillion wrinkles but with pretty blue-green eyes.
OoooooooooOOOOooo!! OOOOgly! I was very tempted to tell her DROP YOUR VEIL.
There are MANY women who OUGHT to wear a veil, a very THICK one too...especially the majority of elected female Democrats--100% agreement on the latter.
