"disingenuous"? It is laughable. This Roman Cult uses any remote excuse it can manufacture an attempt to connect its demonic heresies to the Scriptures. They cannot and will not read the message of the Book, they cannot submit their false doctrines to the scrutiny of the text, but they pathetically try to use unrelated and spurious passages to support their tripe. Let me put it this way. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were followers of Christ, the first Christians, i.e. Catholics. There were no baptists, no pentacostals, no mormans, no lutherans, just Catholics. Your ancestors, if they were Christian, were Catholic before the reformation. Deal with it, it’s fact and nothing you or any Catholic hater can change.
