All right. Let's go to a direct translation from the Greek.
Daniel 9:27 And he hath strengthened a covenant with many -- one week, and in the midst of the week he causeth sacrifice and present to cease, and by the wing of abominations he is making desolate, even till the consummation, and that which is determined is poured on the desolate one.
Who now is the desolate one?

This is the Greek. No pronouns carried through. It is amazing to me how that even a young Sunday school age child can tell you that Christ came and made a new covenant, was crucified, and since he was our sacrifice, we no longer have to sacrifice. Then when the scripture makes the same simple prophecy modern churches want to twist it into a different message. vs 27 is saying that the destruction mentioned in verse 26 will be after Christ's sacrifice and the desolation of Jerusalem will be complete. The things I am telling you were taught by the reformers for hundreds of years. The Jesuits introduced the lie you have been taught.
