You die with an unconfessed sin.....do you go to Heaven or Hell?

Unconfessed mortal sin - Hell. Unconfessed venial sin - Purgatory, then Heaven.

More false teaching from catholicism.

if that is what catholics really believe they better get to confession and stay there. the more I study catholicism I see it is a system of control and fear that is not supported by Scripture.

Christ did not intend for His children to live in constant fear or doubt of their eternity.

I pray you come to find the comfort of Christ and the promise of eternal life He freely offers to all who will believe in Him.

“For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.” James 2:10

The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29

I'll repost the verses from Colossians that more than adequately deal with this.

Col 2:12-14

12having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.
