Maybe the better question would be: if God granted another chance, would people take it?

The history of mankind runs in circles like this.

Individual generations can and sometimes do learn to be passionately dedicated to the Lord, and blessings follow. (God is gracious. If you want to see a being that is mean just to be mean, don’t look at God, look at the devil.)

However, those blessed generations eventually pass away to heaven.

The blessings they leave behind are often misused by the next generations, and here the trouble starts again.

If God gave people another chance, they would not even recognize it as such. That is how dense we are.

It will take God’s Holy Spirit to guide us and open our minds in order to grasp that chance.

Read the history of mankind and notice how it has ran away from salvation, and still does.
