Yes, there is a discussion on distinguishing various types of angels and spirits in Mormon theology. But it is not in the Book or Mormon.
Thank you for the clarification. It’s been at least fifteen years since I read through the books. Memory here is not quite what it used to be.
Overall, I found the books very inspiring and had no problems with their wisdom.
