John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
.
No mention of Joseph Smith. But....
.
Galatians 1:6-9 King James Version (KJV)
6 ((Mormons need to read this part!!))
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
(( Mormons, you claim to have another gospel!))
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
.
Mark 13:21
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:((Mormons should read the Bible!!))
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
That section should settle the idea that it simply divides it into paragraphs. More like into sentences. The section is also interesting in that the story simply doesn’t coincide with how God works in the Bible. God usually uses someone to write the message or sends an angel (the name means messenger) to deliver God’s word. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the only time God actually delivers the message pre-written (like on the weird ball in the text) is the law which was written by the very finger of God. He is a very personal God.
Isaiah 14: 13-15 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."
Morón (note the accent) is a city name and a family name in some Spanish influenced countries ... such usage greatly predates Smith.
I assume that he just made up the word, though he might have been aping the Spanish usage.

I'm not sure the proximate source of Smith's nonsense ... he may have simply ginned up nonsense words the same way Lewis Carroll did.
The ultimate source of his nonsense, however, reeks of sulfur.
And I care about this only because I find etymology (and false cognates) fascinating.
