I am not very religeous, but not an athiest or agnostic either, but I have always viewed the Ouija as something evil I’m 62 and have never allowed one in my home. Never will.
“...I have always viewed the Ouija as something evil...”
Ditto that.
I am a little younger than you, but I never allowed one in my house. Much to the amusement of my wife and children. My brother used to manage the production line at the game factory where they manufactured them.
Everyone gets a chuckle at me about it.
You're right about that.
Before my husband and I met, he dated a girl who became interested in the occult. She underwent a complete personality change; in fact, I would say she lost her mind. My husband found out after it was over that she was bringing a Ouija board into his home and using it when he wasn't there. My husband, who accepted Christ as a teenager during an altar call, wasn't affected.
This girl ended up trying to kill herself by cutting her wrists. I guess you could say she tried to do the same to him, by slamming him in the head with a pan while he was taking a nap.
