Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed Be Your Name.
You Alone Are Holy,
You Alone Are The One True God.
Clothe Us In Your Righteousness, Oh LORD,
And Teach Us To Be responsible for Our Own Behavior.
We also pray for you to raise up wise and Godly leaders
Who will judge rightly,
And Serve You as they serve the people.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Jethro had very good advice for his Son-In-Law.
While Moses was indeed anointed of God to judge on all the important issues, people were coming to him with foolish things and crowding up his "docket" with business and family matters that were irrelevant to the Physical and Spiritual conduct of the Exodus.

We see this so often today! Even though we have an extensive court system, some very foolish and frivolous things manage to make it all the way to the Supreme Court! I first became aware of this when I was in elementary school, and the teacher told us that, because of a Supreme Court Decision, we could no longer say our little opening prayer at the start of the school day. Even as a Fourth Grader, I Knew that this was a stupid thing that should never have been even CONSIDERED by the Supreme Court, especially since Khrushchev was banging his shoe at the UN and threatening to "bury" us, and we had "Duck and Cover" Drills all the time. And NOW, The Supreme Court was telling us we weren't allowed to PRAY? Even then, I knew that Madeline Murry's issues with prayer should have been handled on a local level, and never had been allowed to advance to the Supreme Court. But what did I know? I was just a kid! (perhaps this rant isn't appropriate for today's study, but it is what came to my mind when I read the passage about Judges!)

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

AMEN. Thank You for godly leaders, Lord, for us and for Israel.
