The Christian community has rallied around Carrie Underwood in support of her new single, Something in the Water, which has earned her criticism from far left atheists. However, she is about to be in hot water with her Christian fan base, as recently surfaced interview transcript has revealed that the songstress supports gay marriage.
After wedding NHL player Mike Fisher in July of 2010, Underwood stated, As a married person myself, I dont know what its like to be told I cant marry somebody I love, and want to marry. I cant imagine how that must feel. I definitely think we should all have the right to love, and love publicly, the people that we want to love.
In affirmation of this statement, the American Idol winner told Allure magazine, Im in favor of acceptance.
No celebrity is safe from criticism during their career; it comes with the territory. However, it does seem as though Underwood is using her faith to her advantage when given the opportunity, while refusing to stick up for fundamental Christian values when push comes to shove. In the process of trying to make everyone happy, she is going to end up losing credibility and respect.

We call her Crusty Underpants. No reason. But it stuck as our code name for her.
I think Wasted may be the only song of hers I like as well. Oh, I like her live performance of How Great Thou Art as well.
We have Sirius radio in our car, and I spend so much time changing channels because they play so much garbage music. And they keep playing the singers we hate to hear. Like the Dixie Chicks. And Faith Hill. And Crusty. And the list goes on and on. Lol
Sorry for my as well as well as wells. Editing is such a bother. Lol
on the am channel, they do play only older country tunes, which is also enjoyable...
We switch channels on Sirius in the car a lot, too.
There are a few Dixie Chicks songs I really like. I like Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart,” though I can’t think of any others I feel positively about. Can’t think of anything of Faith Hill’s that I want to hear.
In the house, I play recorded books or history lectures on CD.
Because there is only one things that matters in all the universe - is someone for or against Jesus Christ?
Hank Jr. and Charlie Daniels!
“Wonder when she herself will announce a lifestyle choice...”
Who cares. I wouldn’t buy anything she has to peddle
anyway. She’s just a commercial poser. A public whore
selling her life to the highest bidder. Change the channel.
How John Wayne lasted as long as he did without being blacklisted by the homo mafia is beyond me. Most conservative actors only let it be known when they are on the downside of their careers, knowing they can’t be hurt too much.
So, people CANNOT support "gay marriage" because that is an impossibility.
“So, people CANNOT support “gay marriage” because that is an impossibility”
You’re exactly right, but tell that to the US Supreme Court.
I do also LOVE salsa ♪♫♪♫♪♫ musica.
“I dont think she disgraces anyone. Shes simply displaying ignorance, which is the common condition of the young.”
I agree with you...
They won't listen because they are a group of godless, spineless sinners who KNOW the difference between right and wrong but CHOOSE to ignore it.
PERHAPS they are too arrogant (first of the seven deadly sins=pride) to listen to the Word of God. They will get their come-uppance, without a doubt.
I wouldn't want to be in THEIR shoes when that happens.
.....And do not forget Bernstein.
When I was much younger, I supported gay rights,
Not me, I was extreme the other way, and not at all Christian. I said it right to queers’ faces that a chain link compound and machine guns would be an excellent solution. I’m over that hate, but I rally for opposing gay privilege and the normalization of this perversion.
That’s because she’s not a Christian.
She’s what refer to as CINO (Christian in Name Only) or better yet, a pretender who makes up her own religion and calls is Christianity.
You can’t support something that God calls an Abomination and that will send those practicing it to Hell, and Practice Loving your neighbor at the same time.
I didn't even know homosexuals, as far as I know, except one guy in my year at college. I was just typically thoughtless.
