I wonder why they dont seem to be able to defend all their beliefs with that scripture? Like non-Catholics do?

Hail Mary... Mother of GOD sounds NOTHING like biblical words! Hail, full of grace THE LORD IS WITH THEE...pretty much spells it out to me since the angel was announcing that she was with child (That would be Jesus you know)

Yep, and let's look at that Strong's 1510.
eimi - Definition: I am, exist.
1510 eimí (the basic Greek verb which expresses being, i.e. "to be") am, is.
Note there is no beginning or end. The apostles did not initiate. It already existed. It had been known forever in heaven. As I said, the apostles simply ddclare d what already existed.

I don't cut anything out. I even leave this in.
Deuteronomy 12:30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. 31Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God:
That's why I don't incorporate paganism like the Catholic Church admits they do. I use all the scriptures God preserved for all generations as He promised.

"And just what type of Biblical language training do you have?? You just take the pope's word and go home? Is he a Greek scholar?? CBs comments on Matthew 16:19 are correct. The Greek is the Greek. Doesn't matter if it's protestant or catholic."=============================================================
Parts of the Catholic Church (such as the "Greek Byzantine Catholic Church" (which is in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church) use the Byzantine liturgical rite in the biblical Koine Greek and modern Greek languages, and their membership includes inhabitants of Greece (as well as other countries).
Do you think they might know a wee bit of that "Greek"?

Got it. Anything in the Holy Bible to back all that up? I mean, to be convincing to a non-RC, wouldn't it be good to hear such an important part of theology from the lips of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself a couple of things come to mind, how about "I will give you the keys to the kingdom of Heaven"...or what you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven and whet you shall loose...etc.
To: Heart-Rest
Glad they do....but what about Rome?
To: Syncro
Mary is and has been for quite some time the Central Figure in the Catholic Religion she is our saviors mom....due a lot of respect...we know who Jesus is, we wrote a pretty good book about Him called the bible...

The New American Standard Translation, in keeping with other literal or quasi-literal translations, does render the future perfect passive as CB is rendering it. This is not simply the opinion of some anonymous poster, but the credible view of a panel of Greek translation experts
whose credentials are open to public review:
Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.
It is future, anticipating some act of forbidding or permitting (binding/loosing). But as the act occurs in the future, the perfect indicates that the binding or loosing was already accomplished in the past, previous to the future act. The passive simply indicates the thing being bound or loosed is the passive recipient of the action.
To see that this is a routine element of New Testament Greek instruction, please see the following lesson:

We do not worship a book. We love our Lord and we read His word to know Him. Catholics don't understand this because they choose not to hear Him. They attack any who endeavor to follow Him and instead attempt to drag believers away from Him and into their detestable practices. Cathoics have been following Christ for 1,600 years before there was a protestant....we have ALWAYS led people to Christ, it was the "reformation" that decided to lead people away from the truth.....PERIOD.

Thank you for posting that. I’m stuck on my phone since my computer died and don’t have access to many of my files.
