Please show one statement, post, or article that espouses that belief. Surely you wouldn't want us to understand you are simply making a spurious accusation would you?

” . . . these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, . . . “
Muslims profess to hold the faith, that does not mean that they do hold the faith. It’s all talk with the Jihadists that’s for sure.

Oh, I quite understand the distinction; a good domestic analog is the Republican party and its platform.
My point, however, was that the Catholics profess to worship their [actual] god: “and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.”

And thus in reality you joined another church that is a result of her own progressive innovations, some of which the Episcopal Church shares, all of which stands in contrast to the NT church as revealed in Scripture You are wrong.
You are in denial. Repetition of which and even more propaganda will not make what is a fundamentally unScriptural church into one that is valid.

He can be a preterist and still be Catbikic.?I looked up "preterist" and am still not sure what it means. Saying that, I can't state with any surety that Scott Hahn is one.

Be careful. You may sent her to the HTML color chart and start getting things in purple and orange.
Actually, I meant it as a compliment. She worked extra hard to do a good thing. It stood out from among lesser posts and was worth reading.

Those who believe that Jesus is son of God and the Savior is in the CHURCH...period...Get off the soapbox and quit condemning other Christians because you are Catholic and they are Protestant. Actually RCs attack Elsie, whose posts show the similarities btwn Mormonism and Catholicism, and i think he agrees with you.

Another uncalled-for slur on this thread from IrishBrigade. Persuades no one else. Is not instructive. Maligns a FReeper without cause. Not evident of Christ.

Just like non Christians. Why not stay home and party all the time because that seems like what some people like. I never will forget reading a newspaper article in the 70’s where a Catholic church was wanting to build a bar in that church. Why would any “church” even consider that? This whole organization seems like a cult.

Look a what you posted.<p.
You quoted Christ and then portrayed the devil as relating to that quote. You seem to be conflating Christ with the devil. I don’t think you want to mock Christ, and therefore it would be better for you to retract this.

Don’t you believe the Bible is the word of God? I do. It has everything in it on how to accept Jesus and how to live a Christian life.
