Easter is named for the Goddess, Astarte.

And so the worship of the Goddess get introduced into Christianity.

Queen of Heaven indeed.

Just as the Incas sycretized the worship of dead kings into their Christianity...so does the worship of Mary (or Semiramis) get wrapped into Catholicism.
